Yeah subbing in Demon1 helped, but it's not like he was the sole reason they won Champs. They placed second at Tokyo without him playing that well.

Potter literally took a team that should've missed out on regional playoffs, to a Champs win. Idc who's on your team, that's an insane accomplishment.

Even if they don't do well next season, it doesn't invalidate their performance this year. They were impactful, played their agents optimally at the highest level, and had good stats as well. They truly deserved Champs 2023.

Jawg arguably had more impact than anyone on eg several maps

Ethan had the most assists at champs.

It was a case of INCREDIBLE role players and a superstar duelist.

It’s reasonable to think that NONE of them will be as good next year, that’s how it works with teams that have great role players. A duelist only shines when his team is solid.
