ive been succesfully off of vlr.gg for almost a month
it wasnt a personal decission
my previous monitor fell off the books it was standing on and broke
very sad 😪
books as a stand because it didnt have height adjustment and im very tall and handsome guy
but
i got a new one
and i usually dont swear because im such an amazing person but
HOLY FUCK 240HZ is smooth
i used to have a cheaper 165hz VA panel and the ghosting was so bad but i didnt realize it until now
also i dont need to use books anymore (very nice) 👍👍👍👍
using a phone was a nightmare and i dont know how anyone can spend more than 3 hours on it (unless they really need to)
using a phone should be registered as a form of neck torture
i also became an american writer and author this month but thats a story for another time
i havent been missing vlr much but i did have a few urges to share important parts of my life such as what im having for dinner from time to time
and im glad im back to shizoposting

yes very much so. you wouldnt understand. I didnt think so either. but there is a BIG difference between a 165 VA monitor and a 240HZ IPS.
Especially on the cheaper side VA panels have TERRIBLE ghosting and makes it feel much worse than actual 165. Additionally i feel like im pretty sensitive to refresh rates. Same model but different refresh rate the difference is still very noticable for me personally but probably not worth upgrading to most people. But like I said my previous monitor was really not good and was a bit smaller too
