Why did Heretics keep Boo out of all players? Do they think he will get a magic brother buff or sum? This dude has been straight ass for a really long time now
He's IGL and all things considered he was the IGL for OGLU before franchising and outside looking in I think he did good job at it. Yeah they didn't place high in EMEA, but I also think that their roster individually was one of the weakest in EMEA. They relied more on strats and setplays. Of course there's some rumors that Destrian took over the main calling during LCQ, but I still think you have to give him some credit.
Heretics on other hand was clearly struggling from external issues and zeek's benching mid season hints that thinks were pretty bad. Can't fully blame him maybe not wanting to call for a team like that. Especially because he doesn't seem like that strong or loud type of player out of game(personality wise). Again could be wrong.
And even individually I don't think he is that bad. His fragging has been pretty weak since franchise started, but I actually thought he had pretty good fragging for IGL during LDN UTD/OGLU days. And I think he has showcased the potential to frag or at least have good impact rounds.
Well according to rumors Boo's absolutely insane in praccs, and has been through all of last year. He was playing off role, and with an awful team dynamic. I believe TH thought process is that, Boo, being back on his comfort role, having a good team dynamic, 1 more year of experience, in a roster with no pressure at all to perform will find his pracc form.
He's also evolving as an IGL, apparently he doesn't have a very strong personality, and is more the kind of guy that lets the folks have more freedom, but since he's playing with rookies he should be more respected and develop his role. If you add that to the fact there are no really good IGL's, I think TH's decision makes sense. I do not think this team would be any better with a Bonecold or a Yaboilewis
