Sources: Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker, former star Duelist player of team OpTic Gaming, has reached a verbal agreement with BLEED.
yay is known for his time on OpTic Gaming, a world contender throughout the course of 2022. Under his tenure, OpTic were a force to be reckoned with as they finished first in Masters 1: Reykjavik, top four in Masters 2: Copenhagen, and second in Champions. OpTic's spear for success was yay, as he was regarded as a world-class duelist – notably on Chamber then. After a dominant showing throughout the year, yay made the choice to ultimately switch jerseys and join Cloud9 where he made his debut with a second-place finish at the Red Bull Home Ground tournament. Cloud9 then competed at LOCK//IN, where they defeated Paper Rex but subsequently lost to DRX. Following the event, C9 unexpectedly parted ways with yay then yay went to have a short stint with DSG which you guys don't need to know nothing about.
With the signing of yay, BLEED's 2024 roster is now:
Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker
Javier "EGOIST" Chua
Ngô "crazyguy" Công Anh
Nutchapon "sScary" Matarat
Derrick "Deryeon" Yee
Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić (Head coach)
