If you undervalue the "big" tournament at the end of the year (Champions) it's also not good for the scene. There's a reason why more people tune into Ti for dota or Worlds for LoL compared to their other tournaments, as it's seen as the best teams of that whole year fighting for a championship trophy.
Lock/in also felt like a Mickey mouse Knightly tournament because of the format, not to take anything away from Fnatic, more Riot's fault imo.

I'm not being discriminatory or anything, it's quite literally not tier 1 valorant. Masters and champions count as majors because its the best teams in the world competing for a trophy, whereas GC is not the main VCT circuit. Even the best GC teams failed to make it to tier 2 challengers.
Everything you stated is correct and i agree with you.
But in terms of competetiveness in that specific league, it doesnt matter anymore. The average skill doesnt matter, as its still the highest event for that specific league.
And in that specific T3 league, EMEA came out on top aswell. And as long as it is from Riot, its official VCT and an actual international LAN, i dont think its far fetched to count that as a vct achievement.
