seems like a nepo pick for g2, they are basically saying "we will buy ur roster only if we can put shahzam on it" without checking if his style of calling fits the team or he if he fits the team dynamic

i hope that the guard members chose flyquest, i would hate to see such a nerfed guard roster.

ShahZam is probably the most overhated player in valorant history

He always had internal problems going on (father passed away, sick problem, sinatraa problem), shit management (no coach, no help, shit teammates like who tf picks kanpeki and shroud if u have johnqt and literally any other player which is in T2 right now), solo igl+coach and still got all the shit when the team lost

braindead t0nz fans obviously wouldnt blame tenz, they would go for shahzam. and why? because shahzam streamed a lot. he probably just wanted to make his fans happy.

he was like the hard working dad who always wanted the best for the children and tried till he sweat and drained every single tear out of his body but then got hated and disrespected to his grave and then gets kicked out of the org while TenZ gets his spoonfed and his diapers changed by rob poore because he brings in more viewers.

Do you really think that's how it works, G2 saying "yeah no problem fam, I don't care if we win or not in Franchising". It's Franchising, they want the best chance they can get.

If they think Shahz fits that then good, but I wouldn't call this nepotism.

Plus, of course they'd rather keep the player they already have if they can, and would at least trial Shahz with TGRD if there's a slot available.
