I totally get where you're coming from. TenZ is an insane player, no doubt, but it does feel like he's constantly finding something to complain about, especially when it comes to Abyss. The map might not be perfect, but it's not like the games are unwinnable just because of it. As you said, these teams running triple fakes and nailing flank timings aren’t about the map design—it’s about being outplayed in that specific moment.

And yeah, Valorant’s gunplay has always had variables beyond aim, like utility usage and game pacing, so expecting it to be purely about gunplay is unrealistic. The constant switching of sens and mouse also doesn’t help, and it’s almost like he’s contributing to the inconsistency himself.

I agree with you about the streaming side too. TenZ’s appeal was his skill as a pro, and that’s why people tuned in. The whole streaming thing doesn’t work the same if people don’t see you dominating in the game anymore. I don't know why he doesn't just cover his minimap or put on a delay to minimize frustration for himself and his team. And yeah, switching to variety might feel more relaxed, but it comes with its own set of challenges, like maintaining viewership.

At the end of the day, TenZ was a god in the pro scene, and it’s tough to see him transitioning to full-time streaming when that doesn't seem to be where his true strengths lie. You make a good point about how other pros should be careful about retiring just because streaming is tempting—pro money and competition are still huge. Let’s hope other players take note and don’t make the same mistake.

idk if the reason why lost can be figured out by some people on a vlr thread u can have the opinions but Idk if anyone here knows what goes behind the scenes. Blaming it on streaming is so weird, I'm sure the people getting paid to compete are putting in the hours , and you cant disvalue the teams that beat them and the work they put in by saying people on SEN don't wanna win LMAO
