Acend Champions 2021 Win

Is it me or even one Believes that Acend's win at Champions 2021 was Fluke win. I mean The players itself were not able to qualify for any global event in 2022 and the only player from Acend 2021 roster to qualify for A global event in 2023 was Cned it was because of FPX core.

For the other matches Acend probably got the easyest draw

Tbf ascend was always really good against eu teams but weak against na or sa teams. For the most part they played eu in later stages of the tournament, plus they actually had a winning record against gambit. It was a good matchup for them even tho they weren’t the better team.

Lets remember Ascend lost to 100t because of one fucking tactic called hit the site Cned isnt on. This "masterclass IGL" gameplan is the same as silvers using the "hit the site the smurf isnt on". If you team lost to a plan like that, hell yeah i would be impressed if you win anything. GMB and Kru Deserved it way more. They werent only tapping heads but yk had acc brains. I mean watching that breeze game was like watching PRX hit pearl b site against EDG over and over again.

acend 2021 was a good win, a comeback doesnt mean a fluke, zeek and starxo were insane

a fluke is like mike tyson losing to a bum, acend stomped on liquid and envy, in the grand finals there were only two close games and gambit won one of them then lost convincingly on split

russians will cope but acend was just better in that tournament, gambits best challenges were vikings and kru, who are simply weren't looking as good as envy or liquid, and they barely beat Vikings and KRU

so if anyone fluked it was gambit, the team that had like 6 overtime wins that tournament

Gambit/Liquid deserved to win it that year but mostly gambit.

Acend won that tourney on merit, whatever we might say about the players. This was their peak, and yes Gambit could have won champs, but they didnt. They had their chance at 12-11 on Icebox, but they lost. The Vivo Keyd game aftermath is still somewhat weird, but that wasnt their fault either. They 2-0ed every team after that game, including TL and Envy. And in the end they were holding the trophy in their hands. There is no undeserved victory after a Bo5.

It's borderline disrespectul reading comments on this site during/after every event. Any team that loses nees "a fix", every major event win is a "fluke" because of some idiotic reason.

It's not even about our run, it's the same after every event. I can't stomach seeing all the teams and players getting disrespected almost every day.

Last example was FNC placing top 4. How can people create rumors and spread hate and misinformation about their players after them having such an incredible year is just beyond me.

Simple fact, most of haters have 0 idea what they are talking about. I could count on one hand's fingers how many times I've seen a good post about properly critisizing a top team or a top player on this forum. So many users here just blindly hate on everything and bandwagon like sheep.

Acend is still the best European side this game has seen. Prime Gambit couldn't bring it over the line. FNATIC couldn't either. There's only one team who managed to do it.
