you dont have to worry if your teammate has a counter to utility (e.g. a skye dog to break cypher trips), you have all your own utility

also the gameplay is just more fun, the maps better, graphics better, shooting more precise...

I'll still have fun smurfing on immortal noobs, but that's it

I've got my radiant gun buddies, but even in Radiant the game is unplayable because the community is so toxic

most of vlr is BELOW ascendant, and even immortals dont really understand this game

every cs2 thread on hltv/twitter has players crying over spray/movement being horrible. I played it myself yesterday and it was laggy & sluggish. I like csgo but come the fuck on.

yea its laggy but its due to poor optimization due to beta, but tick improvement feels much much better compared with 64 and 128. It obviously needs optimization tho. I was getting 300-400 fps on any map now i get half of that lmao at best 250. Btw i dunno why people are so mad when they hear the word "cs" like i play both games and i believe both games can learn from each other. CS got 13 round win from valo which makes the game more enjoyable, but i actually think CS2 actually have better shooting mechanism than valo, so valorant can just also improve their shooting mechanisms over this lmao.

valorant players literally dont care about csgo. most of us play both games while its not the same over there. I have seen more valorant shit talking in my recent csgo & cs2 games than the other way around. They all hate valve for copying buy screen & MR12. valorant players accept being a copy of csgo while cs players cannot. That's where the issue is.

no what im saying is that i literally give 0 shit about "being a copy", they can copy each other if its gonna be a better product in the end. The current state of gunplay in cs2 is just straight up better than valorant, im saying this not because i hate valorant or im a d*ck rider for cs but because i want both games to be better so i can enjoy them more. I did not play csgo for the past 2 years and i have started playing it due to cs2 and 64 tick did not felt good. Movement was also weird. Today i played the beta version of cs2 and its just a big upgrade over csgo and what im saying is that shooting feels so much better even better than valorant, if that hurts you then you can just cry about it.

The older versions of CS such as 1.3 , 1.4 and 1.5 (which Valorant was inspired from, besides also 1.6) were played on MR12. Riot did not take their inspiration from CS:GO. Riot Directors clearly stated at the announcement of Project A that they wanted to replicate the experience they had playing the FPS they loved in their youth years. It's not rocket science, not sure why I even need to explain this

btw cs has a fixed spray pattern, it cannot just be bad its always same, it can be bad due to optimization reasons but cannot be bad because its "different". If someone is complaining over spray then they just need to get better at the fucking game

Not a shit pc then, but it's CPU bound game, 3090 is cool n all, but what's your CPU?

Also 200-300fps isn't bad (depending on your CPU),, you're probably experiencing microstutter and high render frametimes.

I'm playing on a 13600k and 2080ti and it runs very nice, 250 to 350fps

everyone was crying about csgo being shit in the beta too it's not new people hate change, cs2 obv won't kill valulrant though it might poach a few pros/amateurs if rito really wants to continue making such a steep cliff between t2/3 and t1 and also hold such concentrated events

imo the shooting feels better in CS2 but the movement does feel significantly worse and i really like the smoke changes and accessibility changes like selling, camera mode for lineups, improved visibility, enough so that i'm optimistic for the game without it affecting valorant crowd negatively

I tried it out and I really like the new shooting mechs and that’s prob cause of tick rate. The optimization is terrible and I’m only getting like 40 fps on avg when csgo was at 100. The video setting are weird now as turning on the new resolution thing is ass. when I was playing dm, there were many textures that hadn’t even loaded for me so I could see through the map. I’ll probably just wait till the beta is over and try it again. It was very fun :)
