Loud got second place in Iceland 2022 and didn't make it past group stage
prx got second place in cope and didn't make it past group stage
Optic got second place and org no longer exist in val like gambit
Loud got second place in lock-in and won 0 and lost 2
EG got second place and they made it past group stages

EG is the first team to get past group stages in champs after getting second place. The curse is now finally broken!

no that's not true. There are both optic/nrg and loud who went out at top 5-8 after getting 2nd place in the preceding global event. They didn't get grouped but bombed out very early. Sideshow didn't consider that a curse, but Loud went 0-2 in the tournament iirc
