• Loud got second place in lock-in and won 0 and lost 2
• EG got second place and they made it past group stages

no that's not true. There are both optic/nrg and loud who went out at top 5-8 after getting 2nd place in the preceding global event. They didn't get grouped but bombed out very early. Sideshow didn't consider that a curse, but Loud went 0-2 in the tournament iirc
