A major flaw in Game Changers

Personally, I just think that there should be a league dedicated only to females, and one that is dedicated to the "marginalized genders" within the community as per the whole idea behind game changers to begin with. I say this because I don't see any transmen playing in any GC team. To handicap females against males in a male-dominated sphere is pretty much counter productive to the very thing they are trying to achieve. It's ironic to say the least.

Edit: I also want to highlight that one of the most common ways to this realization is thinking about how less transwomen are compared to females in this world, and yet they are dominating the charts in the league. How and why does that work?

To say that gender precedes sex in the matter of sports is a matter of utter foolishness, disguised behind a facade of inclusivity. I'd say transwomen are the flaw and should be put up in the normal league.

the league literally only exists for inclusivity. that is the goal, i don't fancy it, and i want the top teams to grind their way out of it as quickly as possible. either that or the league should be dissolved and everyone subjected to co-ed.

as per it being a matter of "sports" and innate capability, type "gc/gamechangers/women" into the forum index bar, read through the thousands of arguments on the matter, and if u have nothing new to add, rest your case. 👍

P.S: most of the "actually good" women would rather boycott the gc scene entirely than play in the space u're envisioning. lol.

Then they are being counter productive for the cause. If it's only for inclusivity, then they might as well create another league just for the thousands of other people of different genders to play in. However, for serious competition there must be a sex based differentiation.

You don't know that because you don't know them personally. A lot would be compelled to through peer pressure but the ones who can see the truth of it would stand still with the cause. And there are obviously some who are as counterproductive as the person who thought it was a good idea to include males in a league that should be meant for the females, because they think they are being nice by being that way.

You fail to understand that transmen are biologically women, while transwomen aren't. Transwomen are males and so they belong in the male domain of gaming, not where females are meant to thrive. It's absurd that I have to use the word female to refer to biological women.

Tbh the problem isn't with game changers, it's with the fact that it's hard for game changers' players to break into the t2/t3 scene. GC is fine how it is because the play is perfectly fair as it is. It's not like cis players are really at a disadvantage compared to non-cis players. One of the main issues is that talent is too spread out, so individual teams have a hard time competing against t2/t3 teams, and players aren't getting picked up by teams in t2/t3. Really, we aren't going to know that much about how good these players are unless a team can make the challengers league (V1 is really the only hope rn) or players are given the chance to play in mixed teams.

A lot of people seem to think there's enough of a genetic element causing the disparity, but it's really mostly a social and cultural thing. Also, with the whole transmen point, the reason is that transmen are still men and therefore count as male players.
