i remember playing csgo and having a cheater in every 10 matches while playing ranked...

...however this never happened to me while playing valorant... the anti-cheat in Valorant is very effective.

Trust factor works very well for people who benefit from it. Also the person didn’t get banned until 4 weeks after I played against them in valorant (one week in CS but they were more blatant in the CS game tbf)

I never understood why they wouldn't take care of the game. Everyone always said it's because they're going to make tons of money even if they don't, but I can't imagine it taking up that many resources so why tf would they not fix it. If they did they woulda made a lot more money in the long run. Now they have to share the FPS stage with Valorant. Literally only play Val over CS bc of how shit they treated the CS community

Also the global focus Val has as opposed to cs - cs may be equally supported in EU and NA as val, but val is so much better to play on in Asia it's not even funny

if Riot would allow a 3rd party platform to run matchmaking games, Valorant would instantly lose 50% of the player base in the native MM, trust me. Unlike Valve, Riot actually doesn't allow parties to improve player experience, in order to keep all potential profit in-house. Ranked MM kind of sucks in Valorant too (from pretty bad servers, to weak MM algo, etc)

I'd personally use faceit in a heartbeat, and probably play more Valorant overall, if Riot allowed it.
