No more or less than white parents. Once they understand it's an actual career and see the money coming, it's a different conversation.

my parents let me spend 2 hours on any type of electronic a day until i moved out, and i wasn’t allowed to get even a laptop until college. hiko is only one white person lmao. white parents always be like “what, video games, read a book instead, study engineering/business/medicine.”
Come to India and you will see some parents thrashing their kids if they play for even 2 min. They always want their kid to study for JEE or NEET. (Both exams are very very difficult. JEE Advanced is most difficult engineering entrance exam in the world)
If you are not black or don't have a black family, you can't comment on this.
Competitve PC gaming top regions and population % of region that are black / mixed race:
NA - 13% (that's all ages and genders. so a tiny tiny portion of those would be pc gamers, let alone be good enough to be pro)
Europe - 1.3% as above in brackets
East Asia - less than 1% as above in brackets

There are several / high level gamers that are black, they are mostly on console games though. Sonic Fox for example is one of the best ever Beat em up players.
Also I think GUILD - Yacine is mixed race / lighter complexion of african descent +yaboidre
I think the console and fighting games genre is filled with mostly black eSports players , idk why there are so few in FPS games though
Going out on a limb here but I feel like black people tend to play physical sports more while white people play e-sports. For example, the NBA is 74.2% black.
every time there's a thread here about women or another minority 50% of the comments are so fkn cringe, it's insane. this one is a bit better than most, but there's still a lot of cringe
