Oldest siblings

are there any oldest siblings here?
do yall guys feel as if you were the born failure?
also, do you guys also feel like the failures and mistakes of your younger siblings and cousins gets pút on you?
like, you are always the one to blame for group fuck ups?
even if the youngers dont listen to you at all?

nahh i don't feel what you feel. in fact, some of my cousins and my brother look up to me cause of what I've achieved

Might be a you, your family and/or HK thing. Def don't feel like that over here w/ my family. Also probably an age thing, you sound pretty young just from how you're describing your situation. How old are you?

Not really. Theres an expectation that I look out for my younger siblings and cousins, but I dont get blamed for what they do.

Im the oldest sibling and i feel u. Everytime my younger siblings does something wrong, my parents are like "why u teach ur sisters that" or "you have to be the role model". Even if i had nothing to do with what happened.

imo older siblings always have the pressure of being a role model or inspiration to the younger ones and have to take the bulk of the blame if anything goes wrong, even when its not our fault

if you are more successful than younger sibling you will feel better about yourself - get your life in order then you can improve relationship with sibling

If you feel like a failure what does that have to do with being older or younger? It's just a you problem.
Also the family dynamics work differently everywhere so can't relate with anything you said

all the time. and when i pull the "im your kid also and what youre doing now to my brother will make him feel like this because you did that same thing to me and i felt like this" card to my parents i get shut down
