"frags don't mean anything" or "kda doesn't matter"
brother, it is an fps game...
he has had 3 good games this whole split and 2 of them have been against 100t
The only bad game he had was against nrg where the whole team got shit on. Other game he was sick.
yes and that is why qwertyy going 0/16 in bronze was actually his teammates fault
That’s not the argument
The argument is that when a team loses you can’t just look at the person with the lowest ACS and say “LOOK its his fault he didn’t get enough kills!”
true. it's the whole team's fault. but negative kda could be a big reason for losing
yeah if a player is simply losing their duels that they need to be winning then yeah it really negatively impacts the team each round. but so much more goes into the game that you can't just look at a few numbers and determine how a player actually played in a game or how good they are. it can give a decent indicator, but so many more things go into it, mostly playstyle and role in team
reminds me of the "bad test scores/grades don't determine if i'm dumb" argument
??? just watch the game and use your eyes and brain to try to figure things out rather than looking at numbers like KD or even score.
you dont know what you are talking about. its not just an fps, its not just like cod tdm or some shit. there is a lot more going on than just kill = win. mostly map control and util plays which this argument just doesn't take into consideration. you can have so much value in a round without ever seeing a single soul. stats can't account for that
correct, but its definetely a big part of the reason why a team loses
if your whole team is dropping kills but youre unable to convert at an unusually high rate, your team will always be at a disadvantage in every gun and util fight they take
there is no "they." this is a general statement bc people always repeat this
this is actually true
PRX got 3rd in tokyo with 4/5 of whole team had minus K/D whole tournament
idiotic take. without context kills are meaningless if you pick up 10 fkin eco's in a half that doesnt mean you had huge impact. KDA is a meaningless stat in pro play its more a measure of how hard a team is winning as opposed to how well a player is performing with a few exceptions. just looking at kills out of context and treating every fight like a clean 50 is an absolutely brain rotted way of analyzing the game.
