I think they still have the same level of set plays and midrounding, but because of the roster, they win rounds before that strategy becomes useful.

L take. Fnatic has one if the best strats. They were the one who came up with the light buy strat. Also a little minor detail but out of the 30 teams I’ve seen. Fnc is the only one who in Bind b long uses smoke to avoid skye flash. So that it doesn’t give any info and someone who is peeking long gets killed.

It's been a common thing. NRG does it very often with the harbour cascade / wall.
Who exactly invented it, I'm not sure of but it has been widely used by many teams

Them using cascade to avoid flash, is them giving info that there is someone on B long. Totally defeats the purpose of avoiding flash.

The round with 1v2 where Boasters spider senses started tickling and he rotated back to A was probably the best read I've ever seen in this game. And then they lost two duels. So yeah, it's not just "aim diff" (which barely exists in this game)

it wasn't just spidey senses, he was legitimately setting up some confusion/semi-b-fake as he was gambling them to lean A there, that's why alfa was left behind to gather info on A. imo it was a good play but FNS rotated basically immediately which is how he caught the timing when alfa left triple. but yea, boaster and FNC are innovators still in the space and even though NRG were being utterly outaimed FNC also read the macro perfectly, shame a lot of people refuse to see that.

You are describing NAVI not Fnatic lmfao. Fnatic has both strats and aim. That's why it was an easy 2-0 for them. Fnatic always strat heavy team, finally they have the best aimers as well.

I don’t understand why some people have such short memory or ut might just be they can’t accept that fnatic’s coaching staff are best in the world with mini being 1 of the most underrated coaches ever people always go on about chet or mce but no one has influenced the meta as much as mini has he has been influencing it since 2020 if I am correct also with a team which compared to the other top teams didn’t have the talent apart from derke and boaster to compete with the best teams he was able to take them to every international event except 1 and other than Reykjavik 2 he got at least top 8 in the other 4 tournaments mini is the goat of valorant coaches
I mean emea is the best at lotus and the only time an emea team lost lotus was fut when boostio had a god performance but they are also the only emea team of the 4 I think at least that don’t use a fade many people try to use fnatics lotus comp as an example of them being all aim and not having a good read on the meta when before team liquid was using fnatics comp they lost 13-6 to vitality on lotus
and by changing comp they were able to have close games with fnatic and even beat fut on lotus and it’s a similar story for navi as well it’s not fnatic who have a bad read on the lotus meta but I feel it’s more like everyone else had a bad read on lotus instead
