He is a good duelist, but unfortunately he never did seem on the same caliber as the world's best jetts.

Korea has always had an issue with not being able to produce good awpers. All of DRX's jetts so far have been amazing entries and goated riflers, but their awping has always been their weakness.

Sayaplayer, thankfully, is an exception to that.

They had good awpers but somehow their good awpers always devolve into just entry jetts. Take kobra & meteor for example, they were good awpers who can entry but somehow they forgot how to awp

he wasn't signed to be the goat and carry drx instantly. they picked him up to foster his potential and help him become a star. just needs time, the drx system will help him get there

not a bust, he just isnt at the god level as other duelists, and is a bit more selfless as a player

i also think they were never gonna use foxy9 over zest in international matches anyways, they just wanted him to get playing time/experience

why would they favor zest over foxy9 rn? he has a lot more experience but considering scan intiators aren't exactly in the meta rn (hovering around a 30-35% usage rate in franchising), it wouldn't make sense to bring a player with a small, out of meta agent pool to replace a duelist player. buzz is also already well adjusted to his senti role so i just don't see zest coming back for tokyo.

i dont know man but i can see why zest still gonna play ahead of foxy9 in tokyo. it's simply because drx needs him to be the main caller. stax as an IGL have been meh so far

i would assume early rounding would be the main focus of an igl's job. midrounding would be up to each player's intiative/set plays

and for most of the teams itw, midrounding require a decent IGL. except maybe prx when any players have their own input in terms of midrounding

zest helps stax with calling which is why they'll have them on for tokyo, and i am pretty critical of zest's lack of agent pool but he seems to be the secondary smoke player when mako plays viper.

I think He's still too young and inexperienced. It happens with young players . He has really good mechanics and aim I believe
