im not one of these guys posting the mãe meme but i do support her for some reasons

EG players are very likeable, just like Potter. On post match interviews, they are always happy to talk with our casters. For example, we call jawgemo "jorginho", which means something like "little jorge", a kind nickname which he laughs about it.
EG just smashed our rival NRG
EG just smashed C9, while everyone was saying C9 is the best team itw
and personally, its awesome to see a women on the esports spotlight. Potter is an inspiration for thousands of girls out there.

it started with the fact she is the only female coach. then it got stronger with the underdog narrative. compile that with both a sense of comraderie and her team not antagonizing any br teams laid the foundation for a team BRs would have a good impression of.
Then, they needed a BR team to win to get playoffs, the feeling of seeing a non-south american team rooting for a br low level team created friendship, and then, the win, with Demon1 going bald, a meme that is very correlated with brazil solidified the love.
Basically, they treated BR as a friend and were in a underdog situation which led to brazil liking them

She is really famous with the female community, always has been, and seeing as EG started as underdogs but now are at least in third place and going to Tokyo with her as the coach, it just makes her even more likable.
