Optic defeated c9 with xeta and yay diffed leaf on jett in one of the maps(ascent i believe). Even if you are trying to say current c9 squad is better, there is no direct comparison unless we see yay on NRG cause DSG honestly sucks. OP says leaf is more versatile, impactful , consistent when all this is just recency bias - Yay was better on jett in the past and he adapted better than anyone else to the Chamber meta.

leaf played chamber on maps like icebox where they needed sage but it has to be a team decision where they felt mitch was better on chamber, right? in that case i'd still say yay did better to adapt to the chamber meta as a jett main so there is no saying he couldnt do it in this meta given a proper team and time

Look at leaf’s chamber stats. He was definitely a better chamber than Mitch. Putting Mitch on chamber just allowed Mitch to improve his worth as a player
