Everyone hating on liquid fails to see the long term plan they are working on.
They lost to fnatic because of a mental block, not because they have worse players ,for example

Redgar=Boaster
nAts>Alfajer
jamppi = Leo
Soulcas <Chronicle
Sayf=Derke

I think its pretty obvious they have similiar skill levels, just Liquid lost because of a lack of momentum, and of the whole Fnatic best team in the world facade.

Anyone thinking that any team has a chance against liquid in EMEA (except Fnatic and Navi) is deluded.
(yes well pointed out they lost to Vitality, but surely anyone with a single brain cell can see that if they played Vitality again, it would be a swift 2-0, (same with FUT))
As for other regions, the only Pacific teams better are DRX (for now, as liquid have better players), and arguably PRX (although i disagree)
And in Americas, Loud are better (but i think liquid will become better), and i would say Nrg are = to liquid.

This means currently they are the joint fifth best team in the world, and they can only go up. (Any americas fan saying 100t or Sen better can argue in a mirror, because you know yourself you are delusional, and any pacific fans arguing any other teams are better have plainly lost the plot.

While maybe liquid will only get a top 4 at Masters Tokyo, they will certainly be pushing for number one by the end of the year.

Come back to this post in 6 months when i am proven right

I feel that soulcas and redgar are kind of bringing the team down, nats jamppi and sayf can step up but there are so many moments in which you see that losing redgar in a round just leaves them without smokes therefore start dying one by one and then the only one left scared to take fights and win them is soulcas

Ngl if liquid wants to become "the best" They need something which is unique and suits their gameplay like
Navi and drx are very prep heavy team
Also drx are very good at holding
Fnc at good at innovating mid game
NRG and Loud are very fast to adjusting and with very strong fundamentals
Liquid also need a X factor which will differentiate them from the rest.

my man is locked into 2021. nats and redgar are not the same as they once were, likely because of the language swap. Jamppi is inconsistent at best, same with soulcas, and Sayf got shat on yesterday. they have quite a few obstacles to surmount, which is doable, but in no world is nats > alfajer, redgar = boaster, or Jamppi = leo
fnatic literally has the #1 igl, #1 initiator, #1-3 duelist, #1 flex, and one of the most skilled sentinel players in the world. welcome to 2023
