With all respect to Frod what has he done? He did great at Lock in and added cauanzin and Tuyz really well, but the truth is that loud was an already working team before him. Also Loud was specially known because Sacy and Saadhack did basically all the work so I imagine Saadhack does still a great part of the strategic work.
Previous to that he didn't really do anything too special. I know he helped at Champions and stuff but does that and what he did with LOUD at Lock in make him the best coach in the world? I think the work of all the other guys in your list looks far more impressive
He coaches the best team in the world, I am not privy to the inner workings of Loud and I'm inclined to believe that he played a large role in their success. I was a big fan of what he did with Pioneers who were frankly 5 no name players before and after, and it's hard to say what was wrong with early T1 given how egos were clashing on that team.
Chet joined NV after Berlin 2021 so you could make the same argument that FNS or someone else was really doing strategic heavy lifting

Well 2 things tho. First, if your argument to put him 1st is that he is the coach of the best team in the world (Not gonna debate if they are or not), why is not Mini second or at least on the list. Isn't FNC at least top 5?
And second yes you can also make that argument about Chet and as a matter of fact, I do. That's why my top 1 would be Onur since he is the only one who has brought different teams to the top and starting from 0. But on the other side, why I said Chet is also better than Frod is because Chet has managed to stay up there longer and achieved more things.
I do agree Frods work was great on pioneers tho
Also Onur was actually gonna be Loud's coach and is who scouted Less who nobody knew, just like Shy. He found both
Well I just don't like mini, or fnatic. It's different when a coach is switching teams and making each of them great, whereas mini has been on fnatic the whole time handpicking players and only now winning a tournament in 2023.
Also Onur's teams just haven't placed very highly. 5th with leviatan 3rd with kru

Mini has not been handpicking players at all. Derke, Alfajer, Magnum, Doma, Enzo etc were all unproven players, yes they were good in tier 2, but rookies to tier 1. Actually none of magnum/enzo/doma/mistic have been picked up this year which I think only gives more credit to what FNC did. They were never the best individually. Just like Onur's teams, he has never had the most skilled players, his teams always shine because of the discipline and consistency not crazy plays and individual talent.
eh, fnatic did all right, but they only won with chronicle, leo, alfajer, soo mini wasn't really succeeding to an impressive degree in my eyes with the unproven players. Also in my memory of Onur's rosters none of them have stood out as particularly disciplined compared to the rest of the teams in international competition, and that has shown in their results. Kru's 2021 run, which was his highest placement was absolutely dominated by crazy plays and individual talent imo.
The chet argument is valid tbh, if NRG doesn't stay in top 3 contention for most of this year then maybe I'd move him down a spot.
I meant if they had had a chance to build a team for franchising. Both for different reasons give me reason to believe they could be the very best.
Engh took Gambit to a peak that no team ever has been to, back to back finals is unheard of at this point and was really a Russian war away from creating a dynasty. He should've been given the chance to build a team from the ground up just like he did Gambit(pre gambit Chronicle and Nats were the only ones to have had even remotely a name in the comp scene with Fishkavtom)
For Sliggy, he has been through all the rough TL times and has made some pretty good teams out of nothing. He turned Soulcas from Raze one trick to a very good flex, same with Jamppi and jett so you know he has player development ability. He also has never had an IGL, getting top 6 and top 8 with scream and Jamppi IGLing his teams. He's never really been given a shot with a team that has the potential to win it all. I wish we could've seen him build a roster for a team like Giants and see what he could do with another mind at IGL and a whole new set of fraggers.
Chet - Was consistently good with OpTic.
d00mbros - FPX were always heavy anti strat/hard team to anti strat and I would imagine big part of that definitely being cuz of d00mbros. Also consistent and good team.
Mini(?) - Fnatic has been top tier team for long time already and can't really think of other coaches who would deserve it over him. Also the players outside of Boaster and Derke have changed and they have still been top tier. Good scouting as well.
