That sounded like BS from Marved to me... You could've seen it on his body language that he couldn't close any good deals. The Americas-based teams that couldn't afford him didn't even try, and the teams that could afford him went for other players. Of course he won't confirm that, cause it would "damage his brand"

AFAIK he only had offers from overseas (not in Americas league), not from any "top dog teams" either (eg: c9 didn't offer him a spot, 100t, didn't offer him a spot, SEN didn't offer him a spot, NRG didn't offer him a spot, etc)

marvedd = expensive when he was under contract by optic, nobody wanted to buy him.
SEN closed with pAncada + sacy, way cheaper.
C9 is broken after Yay.
NRG could not even afford yay because crashies + victor = less than yay cost
