on americas? either nrg get to the finals, counter strat tf outta loud and pray for fns to hit his shots or they might bag the first americas league dropping like 5 maps in total, if any at all. internationally i can see NAVI and maybe, just maybe, FNC
Don't say that. There is DRX and NAVI and they are both good teams. It's going to be a good match, no one is going to get wiped.
We need LOUD to have a few more match ups with NRG to see if they deserve the position of LOUD's rivals. Sadly, I don't think we're going to have the old Optic roster in one team.
Given the NRG vs LOUD match, and the fact that NRG is the optic core, they have earned rival status

In the end, individual hero clutches saved loud (cauanzin on 12-11 and tuyz on 16-15)

Disagree... Yay's Jett is insane actually, but his agent pool is kinda shit since he's not that effective using Raze and Neon
Yeah you can see with NaVi and DRX that there's value in keeping a successful main roster together (mostly), losing Optic as a superpower is a huge blow for the Americas as a whole in terms of competition and growth for the region.
Instead of a team innovating and leading the way, we find ourselves with all the NA teams in franshising playing catch-up re-establishing calling systems and fundamentals.

Ardiis is more suited for current meta because he has wider agent pool and s0m is doing well on smokes.
I can guarantee you if you could put optic in this tournament they wouldn't be as good as you think.
Same reason I didn't include Fnatic I didn't include NRG as 2 roster changes has a huge impact, yes the new players are doing extremely well but they don't have same level synergy that old optic team had in matches. It's nothing any individual player is doing wrong but a problem that they will work on improving over team. Therefore they are working at a disadvantage.

LOUD still has saadhak, aspas and less. Saadhak himself said less is on its way to become the new "sacy" for him, Less is currently saad's right hand and aspas has intelligence and notion to also call some shots during the round. Tuyz and Cauan had some LAN experience even before LOUD, but they're both beasts, cauan is a clutch machine, when the kid is alone on a round there's always hope (like with pancada)
I think undoubtedly, LOUD and NRG are the best teams on america but honestly they're really on par.
On the same stream, saadhak said FNS fried his brain and he loves to face FNS cause he always take him to the edge on the IGL battle
Navi could beat LOUD. They have been playing super well. That said, we will see though.
I also want Optic back, tbh. They are a fantastic team and every game was super fun to watch. Fantastic plays.

I understand wanting them back but I can see the current NRG doing as well in the near future - s0m is definitely capable of doing better than Marved (I actually prefer him instead) and I can see ardiis provide a different kind of depth into the team making them stronger
