No you not get it. You can't give an org a spot based on their "quality gameplay" because what tells you what it's quality now won't be shit next year and then you have an org stuck for 4 years that nobody cares about and doesn't have the resources that other orgs do.

Also do you really think Apeks and Fokus rosters are better than Futbolist and TH?????? If Apeks roster was on franchising people would be shitting all over them too

You're kidding me if you think orgs like KOI, KC, Giants and TH have the resources. Meanwhile G2, Mad Lions, Excel, OG, BIG and so on were denied.

They all got free agents, they don't have money for a single transfer, that's why these rosters are so fucked.

Then what makes you think EXCEL OG or BIG would have made better rosters than Giants/ KOI / KC / TH, what game is Excel even good in??? Did you see OG management in Valorant it's been completely awful? Big would have been a fair option.

Also, no, they do not have more resources than TH (Just bough a LEC slot of 40 millions), KOI (Merged with ROGUE who is absolutely huge in infrastructure terms), Giants (Have proven to have a great management with the roster they have built), KC doesn't have as much money but they move more people than 95% of the orgs

Also, you just cant watch a single series of a team and say they are shit like that, most of the time its gonna take a while for the true potential to starts to shine.
And whats up with the obsession with The Guard? I get that they are a standout among the teams for ascension, but you treat it like is the best team from Americas. It almost feels like you're mythologizing and overestimating their hability to compensate for the lack of success of the NA teams in Lock In.

By your logic, RRQ, GE and other Asian teams should be way behind EMEA and NA orgs/teams in terms of franchise spot. Clearly an L take.
