i agree with you about the cypher exploit but the nanoswarm bug deserves a penalty

the issue is that it's unbreakable, it is an exploit that can genuinely change the outcome of the game
this isn't any cypher cam or kj turret, this is a utility with 0 counterplay since you can't break it

furia still wins 2-0 anyway

Why would you agree with the camera exploit? He used an exploit and was punished, it doesn't matter if he knew or if he didn't. They couldve gotten directly dqed instead of losing just 7 rounds, like X10 and Giants did

you misread what i said, i agree with trembo about the math not making sense, giving acend a 7-0 lead was so stupid, either give less rounds or riot should've done their job and stopped the cypher cam round 1. they hire people to make sure people aren't exploiting or cheating, they should've been on top of that

that's the biggest issue I have with riot, they are so inconsistent in their penalties, surely you either resign a team for using a bug or retract a round right after it happened, doing both depend on the admin's humor is borderline unprofessional and damaging to the competitive integrity

the instant loss is also a terrible punishment, a bad ruling by riot shouldn't set a precedent for future bad rulings. there definitely should've been a penalty, but vikings got fucked way too hard by an exploit riot should've stopped round 1

You don't have the authority to decide what's harsh or what's not
There is a rulebook, you follow it. Riot themselves decided to be LENIENT with Keyd and didn't instantly disqualify them after seeing they used the exploit. So this brazilian fan complaining about only starting 0-7, is just being whiny, as the rulebook states it's grounds for immediate disqualification.

You agreeing with him makes no sense. you did not make the rulebook. And keyd used the exploit, knowing what the rulebook states.

There are so many bugs in this game that I feel like riot will try to stop you if you go against the script. In this case, they're protecting T1. Riot cant have furia, a random team beating their favorites. If riot wanted they can use any "exploit" reason to fuck up "any" team who they dont like. I hope the players/orgs ask for actual punishments for specific exploits so the ruling cant be subjective.
