NAVI and FNC the only ones who could prob keep up with them lets be real, 100T also has proven to have kept up with FNC. We only seen EDG play old Lulquid but most of the EMEA teams at lock in have been mid.

Nah they're not fine. You're extrapolating that EDG are better than a bunch of teams that they will NEVER play until Tokyo, based off their performance Vs 100T. Anyone who actually watches Val knows that's never an accurate way to rate teams. It never had been and never will. Only actual results matter.
People assess and speculate about teams and how they would do against other teams they haven't played yet all the time. The idea that there's something wrong with that is moronic. It's literally what all the analysts are doing when they're setting expectations going into these tournaments. Could it be wrong? Sure, but that doesn't mean we throw up our hands in the air and choose to not think about it.
Yeah people can do that if they want. Doesn't mean they're right. So if someone jumps out the window and says a team with ZERO Lan wins can beat 90% of a region with more exp, based on one game, I'm gonna call it stupid.
Ask yourself how that makes sense. EDG aren't better than 90% of teams from ANY of the leagues. That shouldn't be a hottake to anyone with common sense and critical thinking.
I'm not defending the 90% take. That's too much. But I do believe they could handle most(more than half) of the EMEA teams currently.

The fact that only KC probably one of the bottom 15 teams in this tourney were the ones that made the second round just shows how much of a disappointment EMEA are.
The others had harder matches but they should not have lost in the fashion they all did.

When NA team wins in close game its because the opposing team was good.
