I know it sounds weird but XMS is supposedly on par with Nivera regarding skills. He was far better than Shin and Newzera last year imo. I have no idea what happened to him during this event.

Honestly though, it's too early to tell. I feel like KOI will change roles around more. Starxo is a big question mark to me, but there is enough talent & flexibility between trexx, sheydos, and Wolfen for them to improve past the two maps we saw them play.

its all comes to that small details he is playing against former champions not against some random tier 2 teams,i mean if there's a more reliable players available, I'd prioritize signing them over xms and newzera

they are not entirely hopeless but scream igl is not the answer and doesnt play up his strength. i really wonder how the coaching staff is handling this because there's just too many ???. was expecting various setups/setplays to compensate at least. nice to see nivera performing well tho

Thoughts on KC.

Didn't really expect much, but was somehow even more disappointed than I thought possible.

Hard to even judge how good the team is when they're playing some goofy comps and we have screaM forcing kayo.

Maybe he needs more time to get better on the agent, but we have alot of data and past matches that shows us his kayo is mid, and duelists+sage are easily his best agents.

Positively surprised by them. I liked Nivera's Omen a lot. Scream wasn't fragging as hard, but his calling was decent at times. Shin came from weaker tier 2 team and actually did decent. Newzera wasn't super impressive, but again I didn't expect anything from these 2. And I was dissapointed of xms. Like I still think they will be in bottom 4 of EMEA, but I kind of liked how they looked, especially compared to my expectations. But I do think that going full French was a mistake.

Going full french was good from a marketing stand point. kc heavily lean into these french rosters.
in rocket league its working, they have arguably top 2 roster in the world.

newzera/shin look okay. they arent some explosive prospects but they are okay enough.
xms had a very tough time dont think this role suits him. not even sure he plays cypher much

It is good for marketing, but bad for competitiveness. France just doesn't produce enough top level pros. They could have gone for like Scream, Nivera, Shin, Enzo, Takas and that could have had potential, but outside of those there aren't crazy amount of talent at the moment. Maybe there will be a chance in the future but I doubt it. Its like in CSGO how national teams used to dominate, but most of them have turned into international teams in recent years. Its just hard to get enough talent from one country alone.

I think they are so not ready for franchising, they look like a T2 team and looked absolutely lost at times. Haven't seen XMS play before but this wasn't a good match for him at all.

Honestly feels like Nivera and Scream are wasted there, ngl

As I expected. Good enough to beat tier 2-3 teams, not good enough to go against the better teams. If they don't make any changes, I expect them to be bottom 3 of their league.

They seem to have the same problem as the previous Liquid; lack of a proper IGL. Get a decent IGL, change Scream back to duelist so he can do what he does best (get headshots) and they'd be a pretty decent team.
