The new changes to C9 reunites vanity with Nathan "leaf" Orf and Erick "Xeppaa" Bach. These names formed a core that rose to prominence in the North American CS:GO scene throughout the latter half of 2020 under Joshua "steel" Nissan, and, later, vanity himself.
Transitioning to Valorant, vanity and his squad had a breakout run during Stage 2 which secured them a spot in Masters Reykjavik. Playing with a stand-in, they would go on to finish in the top 6, notably securing a win over Team Liquid. Their Stage 3 performance hasn't seen much success from the team, striking out of both main events in the first round.
Cloud9 Blue's roster now grows to seven players. Upcomer, Rush B Media, and VLR.gg sources have, however, pointed to inactivity from Ricky "floppy" Kemery. VLR.gg also learned that a benching has been possibly on the table, but the roster will be taking time to make a decision.
Although the possible benched player is unknown, Mitch "mitch" Semago currently leads C9 in the server, the role vanity will now fill according to his Twitter.
Cloud9 Blue are locked into the VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier, sharing the bottom of the points board with
