no way The Guard is the 7th best team in NA. They got absolutely rocked by XSET and had a super easy path to the closed qualifier. Probably the easiest path of any team other than V1. NRG & Rise are definitely better than them.

idk why everyone is hyping up The Guard, they have legitimately no firepower. valyn is a decent, young IGL that has potential to grow, but the rest of this team are actual zeros in terms of tier one ability.

they have never lost to NRG before and most of the maps were one-sided in their favor even in the past. Not sure where everyone is thinking c9 look amazing, no offense to their opponents but they can be hardly considered even decent teams at the moment.

Dephh is a tactical genius. He is best known for his signature tactic ”rush up cat full speed vs an eco”. He also has a second little known tactic of ”get no map control and do an obvious 5 man execute”. What an absolute legend. Top 3 IGL 4 sure.

steel is a fine IGL, but look at the talent he has on his team lol. You can put a lot of IGL's on that team in his place and they would still be successful.
