as A fellow APAC enjoyer , T1 feels no where near DRX / PRX / Talon or even zeta .
why do some prx/sea fans have this animosity to kr lmao we have no problem with strong apac teams but its like every kr team has to suck for you guys and you only begrudgingly accept drx as a good team
why should prx/sea fans be happy t1 isn't a good team lol, we all have no trophies anyway. u have some weird fucking complex going on, I don't see shit like "as kr/cn/jp fans we should be happy GE/RRQ/TS/whatever isn't a good team"
they're still asian teams lol? the difference between T1/DRX/GENG and teams like TLN/ZETA/TS is exactly the same for an Indonesian fan. None of those 6 teams will have an Indo player, but I guarantee if a team like Talon qualified to Masters you would support them over a KR team. Dio is Indo as well, so I have no clue why he's decided to be loyal to a subregion instead of the entire continent lol
KR fans don't fucking care about tearing down teams like PRX/EDG when they qualified lol, this is like something only some of you weird af sea fans do. actual weird like inferiority complex or sth.
Ok but riot has long relationship with kr orgs so for initial franchising this was pretty obvious. If ur right they won't expand in ascension at all bc other apac will take expansion slots. Regardless why hate on kr because of business decision? I'm apac fan as long as it's not zeta - nuturn was my original fav team back when JP was a joke.
I have no feeling about loyal to a subregion or to a continents. Tbh, I don't really care that much about talon, it's just, if they are playing bad, other fans would shit talk sea, not apac, not kr. Even kr fans would trashing SEA, sea so bad, etc.
I only support the players from my country and their team, nAts team, and the guord. I don't really care if kr or jp team winning something
not this shit again
16-17 APAC vs KR map score at LCQ 2021

I'm not saying KR is a better region than SEA, nor am I saying SEA is better than Korea. As you can see it's pretty even. How about you just support Asia as a whole? I bet you probably called DRX the last hope of Asia at Champs a month or so ago.
Look who is talking motherless kid of a fatherless nutsucker nutab1e, You have no right to talk shitty because we are talking about Pacific league and Indians are part of it not some NA shitter. Take your superiority complex to somewhere else, and restrict yourself to NA scene because you have NO RIGHT to be talking about ASIA in general lol.
Sprouts is pretty chill about it, no?
"all the chance" bro, KR has had 1 slot since Champs 21, they have always had to start in groups since the start of VCT, meanwhile other regions got byes into playoffs. How is this getting all the chances lol
and considering we've only had 2 slots for one tournament during the entirety of VCT, getting top 3 twice with two different teams is a pretty decent achievement. Not a weak region, but I take it you're one of those fans that I was calling out in my original post eh?
who would've imagined KR has one slot because they are just one country just like Japan
APAC however was not and consisted of many countries
Also KR challengers prize pool is literally the highest in all the Challengers in the whole Pacific , not even APAC challengers got even close to it and still it saw the highest participation of teams across every single country
Like bro it should give you the idea how popularity was so low in KR that it had less team participation than Challengers Singapore ( literally the smallest region in apac) and you saying we had 1 slot lmao . Also these sub-regions got a prize pool of just 1.5k-4k compared to 90k for KR
Like viewership for Taiwan challengers ( another small sub-region) reached like 4-5k + those times but Kr was stuck at 2-3K
Like apac was so cutthroat that even if you make it out these small sub-regions like HK/TW , SG , VN then you have to fight against other countries . Atleast you always had a direct spot to the highest event there was since start and saying top 3 is achievement ? Sure bro
Can think of me a hater of whatever . Feel free
Yeah, if you're a team in APAC you could argue you have a harder path with more teams to face against for a lower prizepool, that's fair.
But it's so blatantly obvious that Riot wanted to take advantage of the Korean eSports powerhouse, like they did with LoL. Obviously that doesn't excuse or change anything but it's not like we asked Riot for the higher prizepools or anything.
I don't get how getting the highest prizepool and APAC having more teams somehow means KR has all the chances, though. APAC gets 2 slots still, and from what we've seen of APAC teams not called PRX/XERXIA, their teams don't do pretty well on LAN. Full Sense, BOOM, shit, even XERXIA doesn't really have any super impressive results.
I think if some of the other qualified APAC teams had good results there'd definitely be an argument to APAC being a stronger region than Korea, but as it stands PRX is the only team from Asia to make it past top 8, whereas Nuturn and DRX have each made Top 3 twice. I consider that a decent achievement.
But like I said, in the end we all have no trophies, and if even the pro players are friends with each other and get along fine why shouldn't we lol. I'd rather only take flame from NA/EMEA fans than have to deal with petty squabbles amongst Asian teams.
Yeah and im not blaming you for all the things RIOT is doing . From the start im actually only blaming RIOT .
But saying things like " 1 slot " is just straight up delusional . Like bro obviously APAC will have more than 1 team or you want it to be like LCK ? There are like 10+ countries competing in val on sea alone
Korea esports powerhouse sure , but we talking about val here and a direct slot with high prize pools literally does mean good chances .
Yeah teams other than PRX dont rly got impressive results and we alr know about this but this not in anyway corelates to how much slots they should get . X10 also did quite well in Champions 2021
Also top teams performing well is hardly the thing which determines how strong a region is . There is T2 and active team participation at each levels and also new good F/A's coming up which rly determines how strong a region is
Also no trophies and taking flame from other regions is a diff topic and not what i was arguing about
They played 1 lan lmao. Give the guys time. Carpe has more lan experience than most of these young, "pro" valorant players. I'm sure he has enough game sense and IQ to pick up his role after some time. No one here is born a pro at anything. It takes hard work and time to become good. You tiktok, adhd kids need to realize things take time and not 5 seconds. A bunch of children saying they are washed. Hopefully, you guys don't start working at a company and get fired for making 1 mistake. You don't want corporate leaders calling you out for being bad at your job on your first week right? Get some life experience and then share your opinion. Glad team decisions aren't made by brat kids.
