I know what the word "meta" means, but I didn't wanted to go deeper, because it'll be a more complex subject to talk about.
People go around talking about this or that meta, but in reality there's not a definitive one other than playing the game as smart as possible. Why? Because the game is constantly evolving. Yes, there are certain "buy metas" on eco rounds, or how some agent utilities are used on specific rounds, etc. But you just really have to asses each and every round as it comes and adapt accordingly.
Regarding what you said about Brim, I strongly disagree, but that doesn't mean that my argument or yours are better, true or false. Both agents can be equally S-tier, it just depends on the person who plays it. If a team is weaker than the other, or a player is more skillful on Sage than the enemy Jett... It doesn't matter which team have the stronger agents, if their players are weak/ aren't experienced. The outcome will be as clear as the day.
In my opinion, Brimstone is way stronger than both Astra or Omen on Bind. His molly and ultimate are literally S tier, and his smokes are more than good enough. Brim Stim Beacon may be useless, but his other abilities have high impact on Bind. Omen flash may get you a kill, but usually it doesn't. It is really hard to use it properly on the attacker(s) side. It may delay the opponents, but it won't last longer than the Brim's molly, which lasts around 8 seconds. Omen smokes are literally weaker. Astra is good, also. But Brimstone is much more a teamplayer, while Omen is good for some little selfish plays which may or not win you something. Regarding Astra, it takes much more time, sitting in astral form, to place stars here and there.
And what I was on about the meta, regarding the agents, NA started to play Viper/ Skye and other agents forcefully, just because "it's the meta", right? Then the chance to play against someone who wanted to really play it are slim.
Europe can be way stronger than you can imagine.
As for me, it doesn't matter who wins Berlin, I just want to watch some good matches.
