Rex Regum Qeon Rex Regum Qeon Asia-Pacific Rank #19 Monyet Cahya Nugraha xffero David Monangin Jemkin Maksim Batorov Kush Bryan Carlos Setiawan Estrella Park Gun (박건) have released Nathaniel "Nexi" Cabero and Kelly "kellyS" Sedillo, two core players from the original Filipino roster.

It is with a heavy heart to announce that we will be parting ways with our VALORANT players, Nexi and Kellys.🥺

With the conclusion of our extended trial period, the management and coaching team have agreed on sticking with a 6-man roster moving forward.

RRQ were the first in the Pacific league to confirm their initial lineup, which featured the bulk of the pre-partnership roster plus the additions of David "xffero" Monangin and Eroll "EJAY" Jule Delfin. Following poor community reception, the organization signed two more Indonesians, bringing Saibani "fl1pzjder" Rahmad and Hagai "Lmemore" Kristen Yesyurun into the fold.

The removal of Nexi and kellyS comes as part of a decision to shift focus towards a six-man core for 2023.

BOOM founded in 2016 few years later than RRQ, however as the year goes by RRQ keep slightly leaning more and more into mobile every year

to at one point all roster RRQ has, none of them were a PC game at all (and to present day, VAL is the only PC game they have at the moment) while BOOM at one point had 3-4 PC games

Bro, this was an L move for RRQ. KellyS is one of the best players from the PH, and would have been a solid addition to the team. Still, I hope he gets picked up by Secret or another partnered team, 'cause the man can play. Also, RRQ can now focus on unfucking up their roster.

This is actually understandable, they only wanted 6 players from the start but they got some backlash and have to sign 2 indo players and now they are in an awkward position with 8 players so i guess they have to kick 2 players that are underperforming in scrims and pracs and apparently that has to be nexi and kellys

Let me tell you bro, the decision to cut 2 players might come from the management, but WHICH players are getting cut is up to the coach and practice results, so if they decide to cut nexi and kelly then they must've been performing worse than the other player in the team

Ik, scrim/practice and the real deal is different, some player is dogshit at scrim but when they play in official match they give 300 ACS everytime they play. the reason why I ask "is ejay better than kellyS" is because of I've never seen him play before.
