is just a deeply unserious take. Him making 3 international grand finals isn't a good argument when these were the numbers he was putting up:
Masters Tokyo: 1.02 rating
Champions 2023: 1.08 rating
Masters Bangkok: 1.03 rating

Individually he isn't even in the same realm as players like Aspas, Less, Derke, Chronicle, Nats, Tenz, Yay etc. Some of them may be washed now but in their prime it's not even close. Jawgemo needs to start dropping some 1.20 performances internationally before he can be compared to them. Anyone who disagrees with this is just a recency biased delusional Gamers2 fan.

It may look like that today but i promise you that +3 years from now this will absolutely not be the case. Winning a masters is bound to lose importance overtime as theres two of them an year. Once the number of Masters winners becomes like 5 times higher than the number of Champs winners, their importance will become minimal. Actually, i think Riot at some point will have to change VCT completely to get rid of Masters (at least the way they are right now) because no one will even care that much anymore

personally I never understood why people hold champs so much higher than masters. I mean replace champs with masters in the name and you've essentially got yourself another masters tournament. The only difference is like the trophy is bigger

i get what you mean, the winner in winning form would win both a masters and a champs. they both define the exact same thing. the best team itw during that ~1-2 month period. people think champs is so much harder when in fact its just extra fodder to make the event longer lol. let me see a #4 team win champs before anyone starts saying shit about champs > masters

Give any reason as to why he was carried?? The proof that Boaster is a good (GOAT) IGL is that FNATIC has always been a top 1-8 team in Valorant in every year no matter what roster they have, have the most international event appearances, most top 4s, most finals, most trophies.

It's not crazy at all, he can play EVERY duelist, not one other person can play every duelist agent at a HIGH level like Jawgemo, sure, he may not be the BEST at a single agent, but he's extremely good on all duelist agents.

His fixation is really weird considering Jawgemo is considered the best Raze player right now. He’s arguably a top 3 Neon and Yoru as well, and leading the pack on Waylay. His Jett and Iso aren’t particularly notable but they’re sufficient for a trophy aspiring team.

There’s no other world class duelist that doesn’t have a glaring hole in their agent pool.

Ask any pro player on their twitch streams, all of them keep mentioning the same names on repeat, aspas, zekken, jawgemo, kk, when they think of the best duelists. Jawg in particular has insane impact off of everything he does

dont even get why hes even considered for of all time. 4 years worth of valorant and he was considered a top player for barely even a year of it. Names like aspas, derke, chronicle, alfajer, sacy, Less, boaster, have been competing at the top of valorant for YEARS(some on different teams too). unless jawg makes deep runs/gets a trophy throughout this year and beginning of next year then I can't see a reason as to why hes top 10. great 2023 yeah, absolutely abysmal 24 where he didn't even look like a star duelist for a lot of the games. gonna have to put in some heavy work for 25/26
