Both seangares and Mikes, alongside Daniel "ddk" Kapadia, joined the 100 Thieves in March as part of a coaching and management overhaul. The change followed a lackluster Stage 1 showing that saw the team exit 1-4 in the group stage.

The new lineup debuted in Stage 2, where they initially stumbled.
