hes a good igl sure but i feel like recency bias is a huge thing, a lot of why xset even qualified to masters was literally cryo and zekken going godawfully insane, i didnt see anything amazing w xset strat wise, dephh didnt add anything, he had no midrounding, no decent eco strats not the best default he was at best a mid igl, i would looove to be proved wrong but i have my doubts

valyn, johnqt even c0m were all better than dephh, sure dephh's team went far but youre underestimating the level of insanity cryo and zekken showed, compare thar to optic, sure fns bottom fragged but look at how many mind games fns played w others

He was one the best igls in NA he had the skills and lead the team to beat optic in stage 2. I mean he is no fns but i would say he pretty good. He also has good chem with zekken and coach

i agree w good coach chem but it was so obvious to notice when xset was falling apart, they had rly good games where they played as a team (most of their games) but anything remotely going wrong made them fall apart

he is a good igl but the chemistry of the team is yet to be tested. soft lock is on 15th but they can still make changes until next year so they will have time to test chemistry and change players anyway. where do you even get those claims that they dont have strats or midrounding, do you have their full comms?

its obvious to tell if w team is 5 players working well together or its a good igl making the rest of the team insane, you have fpx optic prx and loud w insane igls or you have kru xset xerxia liquid, rly good teams but lacking a good igl

What? Almost always top 4 in NA, what more are you skeptic about. After the fall of SEN and 100T, there has been only one event where they didn't do well, vct stage 1 where tguard completely fluked. Rest of the year, they won the Na stage 2 qualifier and finished top 6 in champs, beating FPX once. The only real bad performance was in Copenhagen where they fought the toughest competition of their lives coming from the farmers league called NA, and y'all even thought 100T with Will was better than them lmao.
Fnatic had a dogshit pearl, and the only thing that won them was Will's godtier first game performance. Next few games as Will returned to his NA form, easy 0-2s all around.

Yeah I’m worried about Dephh as IGL because of this. Only doing one side, & that is historically XSET’s weaker side when it comes down to win percentage. We will see though :)
