@T1
It's about time for a proper welcome.

Welcome @currydtx to T1 VALORANT!

The former MDL player has been linked to T1 since early February, when he began playing under the organization in the second VCT Challengers qualifier. T1 would go on to be eliminated in the Round of 64 by Headshot Percentage in curry's debut event.

curry broke out in the North American MDL scene under Triumph, winning the 33rd season of ESEA's MDL division under the organization. The 18-year-old stepped down from the roster in August of 2020, citing scheduling issues as he began his first year of university, and continued playing with the Rebirth roster shortly after.

In December of 2020, curry announced he would be open to offers from CS:GO and Valorant teams, and would be willing to take time off school given the right opportunity.

T1 have continued to struggle after First Strike, with the team failing to qualify for the first two VCT Challenger main events of Stage 1. T1's new roster will make one last bout for the VCT Stage 1 Masters in the qualifier of the third Challengers of Stage 1. Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham is the only player remaining from the original T1 roster.
