Wasn't able to watch yesterdays match, but its frankly sad. Constantly falling short every tourney, got lucky earlier this year and didn't face any really good teams(only good team they faced was LOUD, and they were still new). M2 they got smoked by double duelist PRX, absolutely outmatched and then in the lowers finally got a map off an EU team. Champs they faced the same teams they've faced before except BOOM, and still dropped a map to them. These guys constantly get 2nd-3rd place and its embarrassing that a team with so much talent falls short , they're like TSM in 2014-2015(Astralis). They need therapists or psychologists or something, these guys have such a mental block in their heads that they just cannot win unless they get an easy way(M1)
Optic is embarrassing
Loud is a good team , thats for sure. But for a team thats being crowned "best team of valorant" they've won once, and they frankly got lucky the entire way(optic). LOUD is a fantastic team, best in the world . Not trying to discredit loud but trying to discredit optic, Yay is good and even then this dude is just consistent, he's no s1mple/zywoo where they can just win games for them. They played TL who have no IGL, XSET who they faced a million times, lost to LOUD(best team in the world) , DRX who got a lucky run to 3rd instead of 5-6th and then in the championship they lose again to loud, 3-1 which is embarrassing. for being the "most accomplished" team in valorant history, they seem to fall short every time it matters except the fluke of M1. M3 vs gambit they lost 3-0, m1 they got lucky, m2 they lost 2-1 to PRX, 3-1 to FPX, and now once again lost 3-1 to LOUD, and look at the scores of each of those games, against PRX they lost 13-3 won 13-9 lost 13-5, against FPX lost 13-6 lost 13-8 won 13-6 and lost 13-7, they got lucky that they played FPX on their best map otherwise it would've been a clean 3-0. These guys just give up on the last map and just get stomped on, doesn't matter if scores are close, a sweep or gentlemans sweep is still a sweep. No one remembers 2nd place.

They did not overcome the enemy, sure they won some matches but if a team goes to the NBA finals and loses you won't call them winners. Look at 2016 golden state warriors, best record of all time going 73-9, were up 3-1 in the finals and ended up losing to the Cavaliers. Who is the winner, the warriors or the cavs? Same concept here, Optic are not winners.

Thats been the script for this whole year, They've had it easy until they play actual good teams, like M1 Loud which they got lucky and won, M2 they got ripped by PRX, then ripped by FPX. M3 they got ripped by LOUD twice, hell they dropped a map against BOOM lmao.
Winning more than once is not a fluke when there have only been 6 global tournaments in valorant ever. They are the most consistent team in the world placing 2,3,1 this year an average placement of 2nd. Loud won champions, got 2nd to optic in another, and got eliminated first again because of optic. They are undisputedly the most consistent team in the world right now. Don't get me wrong LOUD played way better than them in the grand finals and LOUD is a fantastic team and deserves the win, although over the year optic is the best team. They havent won more than once, they've won exactly one tournament which is Masters 1. The only serious competition they faced was LOUD in M1, and OpTic luckily won. They are consistent, consistent runner-ups. And no need for the insults, I guarantee you'd have a different attitude if we were in person.
Yes, failing to win is bad. No one will remember OPTIC for 2022, LOUD will be the team of 2022. I have nothing but respect for LOUD, they are the best team in valorant. They came in 2022 with no exceptions and exceeded them, compared to Optic who have all the expectations with none of the results except one lucky tourney.
nah man give them some credit. you can support and congratulate other teams without bringing optic down, sure there might have been unfortunate circumstances earlier this year that could've given optic a slightly easier win but they still won it and continue to prove they are in contention for best in the world. they have the most consistent results of any team in valorant, most teams aren't even constantly in the running for winning events but optics been in 3 grand finals. maybe take into consideration that since valorant is a changing meta that allows other teams to rise to the top (exactly why we have 6 different major winners) yet optic can still float above. if they stick as a 5 they'll win something else

Yes LOUD is better, 100% they deserved the win. Consistent doesnt mean good, Sentinels has been Consistently shit since winning. Why should I congratulate Optic for being Consistent runner ups? There is a line between wanting your team to win and putting unrealistic expectations on a team. Optic is a damn good team but on that day Loud played better. Your argument for “just want my team to win” is just stupid. Normal sports team don’t even win championships consistently. And in this game, there are so many factors contributing to a team winning. Some controllable and some uncontrollable so its really hard for a team to win back to back to back championship.
