He is the one who contacted SEN first for that spot but I agree SEN shouldn't have taken the gamble since there were other tested and cracked Controller mains available.

You simply can't deny the fact that SEN could have picked up any controller from the Knights Monthly and he would have done better than shroud.
However doing good was never SEN's goal, it was just a clout move which is understandable and a smart move
In terms of kills he did bad but do you realize the plays outside of that? Most of his kills were smart, high impact, his smokes had great timing and perfect flashes to assist TenZ & others, certainly a random guy from Knights Monthly cant do better than that

Controller role isn't even that hard for average tier1 pros, perhaps even one of the easiest to put up numbers in this season. Shroud is just washed.

They did good to be honest. They were matched up against the 2 eventual grand finalist early on the tournament(close games as well). They would have went deep if matched with others but not win. It was shroud's choice as well. I'm pretty sure the man's just enjoying life with stacks of money right now and just wanted to do a side quest.
