Stop the coping bro there's no such thing as "hardest role". All roles have their own challenges (except the chamber one-tricks)
You simply can't deny the fact that SEN could have picked up any controller from the Knights Monthly and he would have done better than shroud.
However doing good was never SEN's goal, it was just a clout move which is understandable and a smart move

In terms of kills he did bad but do you realize the plays outside of that? Most of his kills were smart, high impact, his smokes had great timing and perfect flashes to assist TenZ & others, certainly a random guy from Knights Monthly cant do better than that

Just to stick it in your face, here's a list of players who would have done better : Spaz, Cade3k, Ange, jcStani, jakee

However to point out again, shroud was a clout move from Sentinels which is actually a smart move

Any good player can put up numbers on controller, did you even watch Copenhagen or nah cuz your fav tiktok team sentinels wasn't there? Mindfreak, and Marved were owning, Ange1 had good maps. MaKo was literally carrying DRX, held back by his chamber tbh. just because NA has trash players who can't play controller doesn't mean the role is trash.

quick fan base growth, sure. but you can't disregard what he's shown us in LCQ despite the time he was given to prepare after a looong hiatus from competitive gaming. in the controller role as well, which is considered the hardest role to master, not the worst. so no embarrassment at all. also, tarik surpassed shroud's watch party long ago so that aint a helpful point at all lmao

They did good to be honest. They were matched up against the 2 eventual grand finalist early on the tournament(close games as well). They would have went deep if matched with others but not win. It was shroud's choice as well. I'm pretty sure the man's just enjoying life with stacks of money right now and just wanted to do a side quest.
