I don't like it when trans or nonbinary males try to get advantage in sports/esports by competing against biological girls
But overall I am very sympathetic towards lgbtq, for example in my country full of conservative christians, gays/lesbians literally get offended, abused, ignored, beaten up, if they say or wear something wrong, which is a horrific psychological experience to happen to any person, we're all humans after all
It's not that I support it, it's just that I see how my countrymen react to non-traditional orientation, and it makes me quite sad
If you see an old man with weak knees standing in a bus, would you offer him your seat or just shrug it off by saying you don't owe him anything.
We all needa be better than this my bud. If someone has experienced pain and suffering and oppression for most of their lives, we absolutely owe it to them.
Just think of Alan Turing. Man was one of the greatest minds ever born. He created the paradigm of computer programming as we know it. He deserved the greatest honour there is. Instead he got punished by the law and eventually killed himself of depression caused by hormone pills that were forced onto him by the government. Because he was gay. You use the shit he invented all the time. So do you not owe it to him ?
your not wrong , there is an actual studies , that ppl who are super defensive and vocal against lgtbq, they are actual ppl who are attracted to same sex and insecure and dont like it , so they channel that insecurity by attacking gay ppl , trying to convince themslves they arent gay , while they inevetably are , lol
Funny and original!
Either way, from my experience talking to many homophobic people, all of them were 100% straight. I don't believe this so-called studies has any real reasonable backing whatsoever.
If a guy is hidden gay, he will try to connect with people same as him by sexual orientation, he almost never will try to harm them, because he probably knows what it feels like to be insulted that way.
Depends what support means. Do I think there's anything wrong with being gay or whatever? No. But do I actively "support" them by doing something? Also no (outside of wearing pride banner in Valorant for some time because it was cool). Honestly I don't care, but think that no one should get harassed or treated differently because of their their sexuality.
But I'm definitely against some things like I think transwomen competing in women leagues is fucked and I don't like "forced" diversity overall. And sometimes these LGBT... things annoy me little bit when it comes to assumptions of knowing different sexualities and pronounces etc. And I think that parents raising their children as non binary or different to born gender etc is fucked and I think you should be past certain age before gender changes etc. I just don't think those things are healthy for children and has potential to cause mental problems in the future. I personally believe that boys/men and girls/women differ in a lot of ways even if some try to deny it. I'm not strict on it for example boys can wear pink and play with "girl" toys no problem.
Again nothing against these people.
This, but with the difference that they we do need some additional support, some extroverted support because of the historical oppression and harassment that the environment needs to have extra validation of it being friendly. As you're doing right now, being outspoken about having no problem with somebody's sexual orientation.
