TL;DR: Could an org buy out m3c and replace d3ffo?
It´s quite clear that everyone on m3c except d3ffo is really good at their role, although he is important at creating space for the team it´s quite clear that is not very good, he throws a lot of rounds, very little awareness and pretty much never has a great game so it´s very clear to me that they shouls get someone for his place.
The problem with this is that are not backed by gambit at the moment so they can´t really make roster changes, that said i think a similiar situation to what happened with the gambit cs players is possible but just signing 4 out of the 5.
In my opinion, if you can get a guy who can fill his role but also have the potential to carry a game(which d3ffo doesn´t), adding to sheydos, chronicle and nats who can also have pop-off games, i think they could easily get back to being the best team in emea.
I understand there is also a language barrier, so the options are a bit limited due to that.
with all this said, the best player they could get is probably Cloud, especially if navi don´t qualify for next stage, he is a flex player but he can play duelist very well, his raze looks really good and other players on m3c also have the potential to play duelist.
This move would lead to an insanely talented and flexible roster in my opinion.
I could honestly see an org picking them if they they qualify for next stage.
What do you guys think, keep d3ffo or get cloud?
And if not cloud, who would you choose?

aspas's job is basically press mouse1 and drop 30 kills cuz everyone is flashed and stunned

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>

He may not be on the level of a few duelists but he's still incredibly talented and a really good player. Everyone seems to make it out like he's constantly underperforming, which isn't statistically correct. Out of the most recent games, I could only find one where he bottom fragged (which was against g2). Some people may say that since d3ffo is a duelist he should be putting up higher numbers, but its fundamentally a team game. With such talented teammates and such a talented shot caller like redgar, D3ffo doesn't need to be constantly popping to fill his role.
He makes space, that is his role, the space he makes wins M3C rounds. Just watch any of their games and watch the space that d3ffo makes and the way that his teammates fill that space.

Yea he has places where he needs to grow, but that's the whole fucking point,
For example, Derke used to be a shitter, bottom fragging, and generally underperforming. Now he's one of the best (arguably best) duelists in the world

d3ffo has shown insane potential and skill
Gambit is extremely adaptable and they have been shown to learn easily
The same goes for the players, the same goes for d3ffo

Obviously not making any roster moves mid-season, but if they miss Masters again (I think they will), it should be done

Gambit want to sell the roster so they're not gonna do anything about team's lacking results right now, they're just waiting for the best deal and hope to get rid of players, the only way for d3ffo to be removed is if other 4 get bought out by someone

i hate this take so much. Gambit didn't win masters 1, masters 3, placed 2nd at Champions in 2021 for everybody to harp on d3ffo's performance at any loss (or win, for that matter). Nobody on their team is a problem, they have been together for well over a year now and their synergy is incredible, unless they place last at challengers and never make a LAN ever again there is no reason for them to have a roster change. it would only hurt them, in my opinion. Sure, there are probably dozens of pros that have better stats than d3ffo but his place on the team is not to drop 30 kills every game, his role is simply to make space and to let GMB use as little utility as possible - if he gets 1, 2 kills he has done his job perfectly, but even if he doesnt he gives his 4 other teammates the best opportunities to trade him and explode onto a site. I agree, his perfomance last stage was especially lackluster (you could put that down to his health problems, or not) but he was a great player last year, like I said, they didnt have all those achievements for nothing..
