I’m recently new to VLR competitive scene, but I heard liquid was like a really good team, so did ZETA just team diff these guys or had better tactics?
Asphyxia [#2]Zeta completely Team Diffed these nobodies. Team Liquid is actually a tier 2 team that fluked their ways into here, dw they are actually a garbo team.
I thought liquid was one of the best teams in the tourny? They took a map off of LOUD who #1 in Brazil.

They are like TSM, they take maps off of good teams to instill hope in their fans, but they proceed to throw the rest of the match as always. Management is horrible, so their IGL switches every 3 days making comms incomprehensible, allowing for zero consistency.

Oh I see. Just was a little confused on liquid rankings among the others at this tourney
fisherman [#7]their players were just better and they on a man to man level outaimed liquid. was a shocker for people that believed japanese players couldnt aim
they had a few interesting ideas strategy wise but they were definitely carried by their individual skill
Is it possible to beat teams like LOUD and optic with this style of play? Or is that a little unrealistic?

definitely not. but zeta has shown rapid evolution in their play over the span of the tournament so i would not be surprised if they have developed their playbook in a short time to become competitive with the teams like mentioned
even if they lost here though, they've demolished expectations by a tremendous degree and made leaps and bounds for their region
