The thing is, like other people mentioned, it all started because kk couldn't play Yoru, and somehow S1mon had to pick up the slack to learn another agent that isn't his role. This whole drama wouldn't have started if kk, the duelist of the team, actually learnt how to play the meta duelist.

yoru doesnt fit kks playstyle and it was probably a decision made because of the parallels between yoru and flash init

obviously wasnt fair but was it worth doing all that over? probably not

True, but iirc S1mon also complained that the other people weren't putting in effort as well and only he got scolded. It's really a 'he said, they said' thing. Ultimately I would just say it's the fault of the management/coaching team for forcing Yoru into the comp when it wasn't working (GenG is an example of how a top team can make it work without him), and now they are trying to fit in a s1mon replacement by putting these new players as breach/Yoru when they don't look comfortable on that agent. First jieni, now zjc.

I mean, if S1Mon really wasn't really locked in during pracs and team discussions as suggested, then there probably was other factors. Also, I feel like a lot of the S1Mon stuff is hindsight to an extent, because Breach has become a lot less popular since then as well. Lastly, I feel like the role of learning Yoru also fell onto S1Mon due to his prior experience on duelist, I truly wonder if he and KK would be playing dbl duelist in another universe.
