in rio de janeiro (where dgzin comes from) is way lighter as more of a informal way of calling someone like a friend or acquaintence (im from rio so i can confirm that lol i talk like this all the time)

That's because it's used in some sort of "hood language", which is -again- pretty common nowadays (gaining space as a bad trend btw because every kid is wannabe bandit nowadays).

This was about explaining about the origin of the words and the usage.
Nobody argued with #32 about viado, but with primate used in our context, makes a lot of us racists without even knowing. What a joke.
so let’s compare both situations.
Dgzin was talking to a friend and called him "viado" (which has only one meaning, and you can google it and see that it can be used in a non-offensive way).
Keznit was talking to someone he doesn’t know and used a word that can be interpreted in many ways, including a racist one.
so what makes more sense: calling someone you don’t even know "weon", or using a racist word against a brazilian (which ISN'T THE FIRST TIME)?
To this day I cannot understand the obsession with cancelling WORDS but whatever
