"he was gonna go to a T1 team like TL right before valorant happened" this comment is all I need from a brain dead fan boy why go to a unsecure future when csgo was getting back on top .... Seriously the guys a one trick pony he would have flopped for T1 team like he has for valorants tsm team just accept it his first year looked amazing because it wasn't established yet now theirs players more established then wardell he's no longer prime player in the game he's the typical wardell people from csgo know he's over hyped hell I would say hikos better then wardell and that's saying something
I mean, do I really trust you or people on TL that cited that Wardell was going to be the pick? Also, pretty sure Wardell said he didn't want to invest in CS because of the "uncertainty" it held in comparison to valorant. CSGO has its diminishing returns, meanwhile conquering a new game and becoming the best at (with smaller competition at the start) held better chances.
Yes, Valorant is a new game that has an unsecure future but it was a gamble worth taking, especially when it has the financial backing from riot games. Would you rather take a 50/50 chance at becoming the best player in a new game or a much lower than 50/50 chance trying to compete in T1 CS where being the "best" or even dominating the scene was really rocky? There's a big difference between being a T1 player and being able to dominate the scene; I'm pretty sure Wardell wanted to dominate the competitive atmosphere and valorant held the conditions better suited for that.
Unfortunately I disagree where csgo had uncertainty the games been around far longer then I can remember the csgo scene it's self has been year on year a lucrative career choice for any pro player out their wardell never broke out on. Tier 1 list I mean ok if TL were going to take a shot at the guy they would have offered good money bit of brandead move for not taking it in my oppinion (yes I know people's oppinions will differ like mine and yours but look at it logically) he takes an uncertain path dominates in invitational tourneys then the real circuit begins and he's a flop he either had no faith in him self for not taking the contract with TL or he thought he was better then that and went on to play Val either way you look at it people caught up with him fast and surpassed him even quicker he's aweful on rifle and not the best opper nor decision maker their are tons of talent out their far more superior then him
Pressure does that to a player he was new to the lan experience hence why he flopped in Cs I agree he didnt achieve any thing in Cs your right but he's got a proven track record in valorant were as wardell doesn't he hasn't won any majors since the vct circuit existed were as tenz has he's achieved more then wardell ever has
Am I missing something or doesn’t csgo have people that pretty much only awp? Like…. Being an awp specialist isn’t a bad thing lol. He still puts up outrageous numbers and if he had a better team he would be considered one of the best jetts in NA.
It’s weird to hear someone from csgo talk about 1 trick when that’s pretty much ALL that game has.
If he was on a better team he would be carried he wouldnt be deemed better that's not how it works and csgo is totally different they don't all AWP, I'm not just from Cs I'm a genuine valorant fan love this game hope it supersedes csgo in the future it's more fun to play and watch but being a specialist and being a one trick pony are two totally different things Kenny's is specialist awper BUT he's just as cracked with an AWP as he is with a rifle you really need to learn the differences

Sure it was 🤣 yet he played for ghost gaming a T2/3 semi pro team at the time he played on the same stages as Ardiis and I don't really rate him either where as Ethan hiko nitro steal floppy leaf tenz Shazam and many more top pros of valorant were once top pros of csgo and have still shown true skill in valorant were as wardell in my opinion hasnt I'm not saying your wrong and I'm right I'm saying I personally think he's trash and the facts back up my claims in my opinion
