After a close OT on map one, NRG ran away with map two to earn the organization's first international grand final appearance.

The series started on Ascent, with NRG running double-Initiator with Sova and KAY/O alongside Vyse, as FNATIC ran their double-Sentinel composition with Alfajer back on Sage. Starting on attack, FNATIC nearly had Boaster clutch a 1v3 pistol to start the series. Instead, mada and NRG took the early lead, with FNATIC preventing the bonus round win. Just as FNATIC looked to get their protocols done and their rounds planned, s0m and NRG caught them off-guard.

s0m gets three with a Judge to win a round on his own.

After this round, FNATIC started to hit shots and play their defaults with more success, approaching a better attack half with their comp. Yet, a timeout from NRG led to some more aggression from mada and some smart Odin play with brawk , as NRG kept the lead to 8-4 at the half.

FNATIC needed a pistol win to start a quick comeback, and they got that win thanks to Alfajer. NRG needed s0m to prevent a bonus round conversion, but FNATIC were clinical in their own defense half with their two Sentinels, as kaajak stepped up to match NRG's half and take the map to overtime. However, in OT, it was a quick two round wins off the back of mada as NRG took the map 14-12 and the series lead.

Next up was Abyss, and the two teams ran very different compositions, as FNATIC ran Breach and solo Waylay while NRG ran Harbor and Yoru. NRG won the first pistol, and despite losing their bonus round, it was utter domination from the Americas team. FNATIC could do nothing to stop the attack from NRG, as they only lost the bonus round and ended the first half up an absurd 11-1. Both skuba and s0m weren't even contested towards the end of the half with 15 and 13 kills each, respectively. The second half was just formality, as a FNATIC pistol win only delayed the inevitable. NRG won Abyss 13-5 and won the series 2-0.

The series MVP was skuba, who played well on map one only to skyrocket on map two. He ended the series with a 1.31 match rating, 39 kills, +17, and 151 ADR.

With this win, NRG has secured its organization's first international grand final appearance through the upper bracket. As for FNATIC, they move to the lower bracket final and will face DRX DRX Korea Rank #1 Flicker Kim Tae-hee (김태희) Flashback Cho Min-hyuk (조민혁) MaKo Kim Myeong-gwan (김명관) free1ng No Ha-jun (노하준) HYUNMIN Song Hyun-min (송현민) Estrella Park Gun (박건) BeYN Kang Ha-bin (강하빈) .
