Riot had previously overturned Keyd Stars' 13-8 victory over Acend, granting Acend a 12-9 win instead. The old ruling stated that the four rounds in which the cam was used were to be forfeitted, and also gave Acend an additional round for the economic impact the now-won rounds would have.
Acend were set to face Envy Envy Inactive Marved Jimmy Nguyen Victor Victor Wong crashies Austin Roberts FiNESSE Pujan Mehta yay Jaccob Whiteaker in one of yesterday's winners matches, but the match was postponed to allow for further review of the situation.
The now-updated ruling has determined that a mistake was made in overturning one-too-many rounds, namely Round 21, resulting in a revised scoreline of 12-10. However, a 12-10 scoreline is not yet a win under Valorant rules.
After consultation with Acend, the disadvantaged team, Riot has made the decision to force a replay of the Map 3 rematch with Acend receiving a 7-0 head start.
