Your biggest hits vs misses?

What players/ coaches/ teams were you really wrong about? Im talking about lesser known players or unpopular opinions, most ppl thought FNC would be great going into franchising etc.

Hit: I became a huge fan of GenG and in particular Meteor after watching APAC in 2023 and I was adamant that they should keep him after they went from 4-0 to 4-5 and bombed out of all the regionals

Miss: I thought C9 fumbled so bad when they picked up OXY, I told myself he would be dropped by the end of the year and now he's locked in C9 jail until 2028 and is one of NAs future superstars

I predicted liquid was going to be good this year and vit would crumble, people clowned me for both takes.

Also off vlr so no proof after their game against fnc I thought bbl looked pretty good and thought that once they replaced vakk they would be a really competitive team, and they are looking to do so...

I told people to stop underrating wolves before Toronto

I said PRX would never win an international trophy until they get rid of at least 2 players right before Toronto

I started supporting 2023 EG after their match against SEN in regular season

I said "A Chinese team and then DRX for Sen this shit is so scripted" in the XLG vs Sen match for EWC and then Sen beat XLG and DRX and made it out of their group.

I thought that dropping Demon1 was a bad move by LEV because he was starting to look more comfortable and I also thought dropping boostio right before stage 2 started was a bad move by 100T but I was wrong

Hit: I always said Bang would one day be the best controller in Americas. Sucks that he came into his own once he left 100T tho :(

Miss: I thought Flyuh was gonna change EMEA forever when he went, although honestly he can still make a comeback once he comes back to Americas.

I said that valyn was gonna be a top igl in the world after the guard won ascension. I said cauanzin was the second coming of Leo 🥲. The second isn't valoramt but i said the chiefs signing andy reid was one of signings ever

Although its probably just because im on some insane copium constantly but every comeback heretics have made I have believed in them, even 2-10 down I still believe

Biggest miss is probably when they benched mindfreak, I was a big supporter of paper rex from 2021 to 2025 like BIG, I was adamant about no roster changes because I think they just needed to reorganise their ideology, they are all proven good players. when they brought in patmen I didn't think it would go well but after they made it to champs, I put them to win champs (after heretics bombed out)

Hit: predicted exact prx run after patmen’s first game for them.

Miss: Believing in Karmine after getting to Madrid :ccc

Demon1 (twice)

Thought he would be shit replacing Bcj who I thought was the best init in NA at the time. Demon1 then won champs.

Thought he would then be a goat contender, and boy was I wrong.

Hit: TH would be in the GF at last year champs and Top 4 at Toronto would be 1 team from each region ig

Miss: i thought TEC would be good team after kickoff, RRQ would be in the GF at Toronto

Hits: Demon1 will fail again

Comeback won't save M8 in stage 2 and they will suck

Fnatic will continue to win

Hits: Spring will be a top 3 player at Toronto, BLG will upset NRG
Misses: Super high on Wolves and RRQ in 2024 and both didn't make an international

Miss : My first impression of the 2025 TL roster was that they were going to be mid and have the same results as 2024. BOY did they prove me wrong...

Hit : I predicted T1 to win an international event in 2025.

Miss: I thought M8s would be top 4 this year (omg)
Hit: uhh I can't think of any that weren't really obvious I cursed every player and team I've tried to pred for

Hits: vitality will collapse
Misses: I thought Zeta would be able to win

Back in Ascension China in 2023 I said Fayde would be one of the best coaches in the world someday. He made top 3 at Masters Toronto, so I guess I was pretty close

I literally got 0 pick'ems points in Champs playoffs last year
