Quick question, why did you start supporting your valorant team?
Teams I started supporting around Masters 1
Nuturn - cuz I saw potential
Gambit - cuz I saw potential
Acend - cuz I saw potential
Teams I started supporting after Masters 3
Vivo Keyd - cuz I saw potential
Zeta Division - cuz I saw potential
Full Sense - cuz I saw potential
100T coz when i was new to valorant hiko was the 1st guy i saw and i learnt how to play from him so yea
but after seeing their performance in LCQ and now nitr0 reportedly shifting to CS i am having 2nd thoughts :(
literally me. Never played CS but Val looked really cool and he was the best and biggest educational streamer. Learned so many fundamentals from him
same here, hiko was the first person who i saw playing val, and i learned to play omen from him.
GE- very good management and team, wholesome
VLT- they are the og no.1 top indian team in 2020
Enigma gaming - rvk
Wait did you just called VLT(est. 2019) og when GE(est. 2015) is literally there in your list.
pretty rare to see mexicans in e-sports ever since I saw Marke win or lose I'll root to any Mexican representing their country
TSM vs SEN in FaZe invitational, my friend cheered for TSM so I went for the other team and then started watching SEN streams and enjoyed a lot :D
After gambit won against liquid in challengers I went like "They better win Berlin now or I'll be mad af", before berlin I watched some streams of nats and redgar and found out they were cool guys, and that's how I sticked with gambit through Berlin
Supported Prodigy because of ScreaM and M1xwell , both went different ways , started disliking Mixwell becuase of Ardiis so supported Liquid
i like their chemistry, like everytime they play it seems like they have fun a lot.
Supported fish123 as it was first British team o found. Then liquid picked them up.
Onic cause im indonesian
Paperrex cause theres the best indonesian player in there
conclusion : im bias
Gambit - simply because they weren't CSGO pros (even though some of them did played CSGO)
T1: mostly because of the players they have/had (Brax, Spyder, Auti, Curry, Ska)
ZETA, CR, NTH: because there is untapped potential in Japan and they have really fun players to watch
finest -- im jewish and they are in in Israel so I felt a connection and a reason to support them
100t - not sure, but both hiko and steel are jewish and asuna went to the same hs HS as some of my friends so I guess that's it
liquid - its a new found liking, but I just kinda vibe with their roster, their content, and yeah
Might be cringe but I liked sen from bugha in fn and i liked watching sinatraa in the beta and episode 1
I like Fnatics members, they all seem like nice guys. I like VS and CR for the same reason. Gambit members are nice too, but the team is so boring. Liquid is cool too.
Most of the time I support whatever team is the underdog if I have no special opinion about the roster.
shahz used to be teamates in CSGO with one of my friends in 2013/14 and I saw he joined SEN so I just started rooting for them
Gen.G quite possibly the most talented teams out there. All of the people on that team know how to play so many agents to a high degree. But I think it's their main downfall. I still love their interesting team comps though because that's something you won't see anywhere else.
installed valorant -> mained jett -> wanted to get better at jett -> started watching and liking tenz -> started watching val esports (tenz was content creator at that time) -> tenz back to pro play a month later -> started to support sen tenz -> watched/followed the other sen members stream/social medias = liked them -> supported SEN as a whole
Gambit: I am from Kazakhstan, Hobbit is my favorite CS player, he plays for Gambit, ez enough
JP teams: it is literally human nature to want to root for the underdog, so I like them
because I'm new and VS's playstyle stuck out to me way more than every other team. I find their playstyle and util usage beautiful and intricate.
Prx-started supporting their csgo team when they formed in 2020 and when they dropped their valorant roster and moved their cs roster to val I just started supporting
Liquid after i watched first strike fell in love with scream dude dropped 39 in a map and lost always wanted him to win since then and the new brother storyline damn
VS looked so good and it looked like they were better than even some of the best international teams, and kr region was fairly unknown so I started supporting them.
Strong team vs Strong team - Just want to see a masterpiece of game
Weak team vs strong team - Im rooting for the underdog
Weak team vs weak team - expect nice plays , individual good players and enjoy the match
For NA n EMEA-
Sentinels when they dethroned TSM n became #1 in NA in the Ignition Series
Liquid cuz I love the roster :>
